On the occasion of the 160th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, a ceremonial meeting of the faculty's scientific council was held on 16 May 2024. During the meeting, academic officials and important guests presented the history of the faculty, the importance and scope of its activities.

At the end of the meeting, distinguished academicians and guests were presented with commemorative medals of the CTU University. On this occasion, the rector of CTU and the dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of CTU presented a commemorative medal to Prof. Zvoníček for the general manager Michele Taiariol for his significant contribution to the development of cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering of CTU in the field of design and construction of machines.
