TAJMAC-ZPS, a.s. constantly works on its processes in the range of their development and innovation. It actively uses the funding granted under European funds.
 
Project: Competitive production of machine tools

Project type: Acquiring new technologies
Implementation: 2008 - 2011
The goal of the project is to increase the competitiveness of the company in the area of the production of components of machine tools by introducing new innovated technologies in the production process.

Implementation: 2011 - 2012
Funding: CZK 220K
Project is targeted at qualified education of employees.

TAJMAC-ZPS a.s. constantly works in the area of research and development for improving its products in cooperation with universities and research institutes.
 

Research and development projects in 2003 - 2011:

Project: Development of CNC series multi-spindle automatic lathes
Programme: EUREKA
Implementation: 2003 – 2005
Acknowledged costs of project: CZK 52 289K
Granted funding: CZK 13 072K
Project was successfully completed and defended. The Research Institute of Textile Machines in Liberec cooperated on the project.
 
Project: Horizontal machine with high dynamics
Programme: PROGRESS
Implementation: 2004 – 2006
Acknowledged costs of project: CZK 35 079K
Granted funding: CZK 13 213K
Project was focused on the development of horizontal machining centre with the parameters of   pallet 500 x 500 mm. Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering cooperated in the project. The project was successfully completed and defended.
 
Project: New methods and procedures when using mechatronic element in construction of machine tools
Programme: PERMANENT PROSPERITY
Implementation: 2007 – 2010
Acknowledged costs of project: CZK 84 550K
Granted funding: CZK 40 020K
The research and development project was focused on research and used of non-traditional materials in the construction of machine tools. The Research Institute of Textile Machines and Czech Technical University in Prague took an active part in the project. Project was completed and defended.
 
Project: Seismically balanced machine tool
Programme: IMPULSE
Implementation: 2008 – 2010
Acknowledged costs of project: CZK 59 760K
Granted funding: CZK 17 928K
Project was focused on the development of horizontal machine when using the floating principle of movement of machine axes while using active damping of vibrations. Project was conducted in cooperation with Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. Project was completed by construction of two machine prototypes and was successfully defended.
 
Project: Highly-productive machine tool for complex machining

Implementation: 2009 – 2011
Acknowledged costs of project: CZK 59 370K
Granted funding: CZK 26 630K
Project of research and development is focused on the development of a six-spindle automatic lathe designed for complex machining of parts with the use of steering up to 51 axes. Non-traditional composite materials are used in the machine in research for the drive of spindles. The Research Institute of Textile Machines in Liberec participated in the project in researching mechatronics.

Research and development project focuses on the development of prototype of multi-function machine tool. Machine tool is designed for complex machining. The Research Institute of Textile Machines in Liberec have been taking part in the development of machine and peripheral devices.

Implementation: 2011 – 2013

Granted funding: CZK 3 985K
The bearer of the project is Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The project is focused on research and development of machine tools and to the area of energy saving.
